Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are your rates?
I charge $180 for a 50 minute session. I offer limited sliding scale, with availability prioritized for those whose access to therapy is limited. If you are interested in services, but worry that finances may be a barrier, please reach out.
  • Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! I offer virtual sessions on a HIPAA compliant platform. Clients have the flexibility to choose virtual, in-person, or a hybrid model.
  • Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I will provide you with a superbill for all sessions that you can submit to your out-of-network benefits for potential reimbursement. Clients often are able to use their Health Savings Account to pay for sessions and/or receive out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance.
  • How long do I need to be in therapy?
This varies from person to person and on their goals. Some clients feel they have achieved their goals in a few months and others prefer to have therapeutic support for up to a year or longer. We will reevaluate your goals and our progress throughout our time working together.
  • What ages do you see?
While I incorporate experiential practices in session, the basis of our work is still talk therapy. Due to this, I see ages 14 and up.
  • What should I expect at the first session?
After your initial consultation, you’ll be sent paperwork electronically to complete prior to the first session. At the first session, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting space, where we will sit down and begin to explore your world, getting a holistic view of the supports, stressors, and resources you currently have. We will also discuss your goals and how we can work together to achieve them, and I make sure there's time to answer any questions that you may have.
  • Do you only see eating disorders?
No, I see a wide variety of issues and help people who want to improve their emotional wellbeing. While I do have training and expertise in working with eating disorders, I also have other areas I really enjoy working with such as: highly sensitive persons; trauma; obsessive compulsive disorders; life transitions; and relationship struggles.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. All sessions canceled with less than 48 notice will be billed at the rate of the session.
